The Mod® Pedal and Amp kits are designed for a wide range of electronics and music enthusiasts. With this in mind, we have created a "build difficulty" system to rank our kits depending on your skill level. Please consult the list below to help determine which Mod® Kit is right for you!
Novice (1)
If you have little to no experience with soldering, this build level is the best place to start. The circuits are very simple and the number of components and solder connections are minimal.
Amateur (2)
If you have little to no experience, but would like to gain experience by building circuits with a few more components than the level-one projects, this build level should be okay for you. Just be sure to take your time when making each connection.

Intermediate (3)
With even more components than the level-two projects, if you have soldering experience and are not intimidated by building complicated circuits contained in tight spaces, then this build level should be okay for you. There is a level of ingenuity that comes from previous build experience which allows you to anticipate assembly challenges and find alternate approaches that may work better for you. These projects will be much easier for those people who have attained some level of ingenuity from experience.
