Mod® Electronics is proud to present a series of PCBs & Circuit boards with an eye towards both vintage pedal design and modern audio applications.

Vintage Pedal Boards

Including both vintage reproductions and new designs with an old-school aesthetic, these Mod® Vintage-Style Boards are great for reproductions and restorations of classic originals, or for modern recreations built in a vintage style. Boards with visible copper tracks have been treated with a surface finish to prevent oxidation and improve solderability.

Modern Pedal & Circuit Boards

Our Modern Pedal Boards feature easy-to-follow silkscreen labels, simplified offboard wiring, compact component layouts, and other modern conveniences. These boards prioritize functionality and ease of building, while still maintaining a neat final appearance in your builds.

Pseudo Eyelet Boards

Eyelet boards are a classic build style used often in vintage audio equipment; this style is still used today particularly in handwired tube amplifiers. Our Pseudo Eyelet Boards are made of FR4 material with large through-holes coated with surface-treated copper for a functionally equivalent board style. The boards are designed to accommodate various pedal enclosure sizes and amplifier layouts.

Daughterboards

Mod® Daughterboards are small utility boards designed to simplify the pedal-building process. We offer various breakout boards for simplified wiring and boards which accommodate commonly-used circuit blocks for simple implementation and on-the-fly prototyping.

Stripboards

Stripboards are general-purpose circuit boards which can accommodate a wide variety of circuits. Made up of multiple rows of copper tracks which can be cut to customize the routing, stripboards are commonly used for prototyping, for quick builds without a dedicated PCB, or as the dedicated PCB for simple circuits as was done in some classic guitar pedals such as the Tonebender Mk2. Our stripboards are available in a variety of materials and hole spacings to accommodate modern and vintage build styles.

Padboards

Like stripboards, padboards are general-purpose circuit boards which can accommodate almost any low voltage circuit. Instead of the pads being connected in rows, all pads are isolated on padboard, with connections intended to be made by the builder. Padboards are similarly useful for prototyping and quick builds of simple circuits, but the isolated pads offer more routing freedom.

Smt Adapters

Our SMT adapters are breakout boards for converting commonly-used surface mount components to a common DIP format for easy replacement of DIP originals, use on boards with DIP pads, or breadboard prototyping.
